Motonori Imaseki

Mr. Imaseki has over 100 M&A deal experiences with his more than 20 years M&A advisor experiences at Morgan Stanley etc. Prior to establishing Quest Group in December 2022, he was Managing Director of M&A Advisory Group of Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley Japan. Prior to Morgan Stanley Japan, he worked at Deloitte until 2000 as Manager of Corporate Finance (M&A) Group in Tokyo and Audit Group in Tokyo and New York. He earned a Master of Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA (majors in Finance, Strategic Management and Entrepreneurial Management) with Graduation Honors as a Fulbright Scholar from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Meiji University. He is a Japanese Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Licensed Real Estate Appraiser (LREA).

Koi Jiang, Associate (Tokyo)

Koi Jiang brings a global perspective with her extensive experiences in strategic business, investments and finance, across China, Japan, and the U.S. Before joining Quest Group in Tokyo, she began her career in corporate banking at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and transitioned to the equity research at Deutsche Bank Securities in Tokyo. Following her MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in 2020, she worked with GIC’s real estate investment team in Tokyo. She later applied her strategic expertise at Ushopal, a luxury e-commerce business in China, driving corporate strategy initiatives.

Kylie Jang, Associate (Tokyo)

Kylie Jang brings a unique combination of medical and business expertise, shaped by her professional experiences in South Korea and the United States. She is a licensed dentist in South Korea and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business (Class of 2020). With a strong foundation in both clinical practice and business strategy, Kylie has led a dental clinic and a healthcare startup, giving her deep insight into the operational and strategic challenges of the healthcare sector. Her firsthand understanding of customer needs and pain points enables her to deliver impactful, customer-focused solutions and drive strategic planning initiatives.

Jess Sims, Associate (Tokyo/US)

Jess Sims brings extensive experiences in investment banking, corporate finance, and strategic deal execution across multiple industries. Prior to joining Quest Group, he has held roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Investment Associate, and Bank of America as a Financial Advisor in New York. Jess earned his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in 2023, and a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2010. He has also passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Daniel Koh,

Analyst

(Singapore)

Daniel Koh has experiences in corporate finance and cross-border transactions involving Singapore, China, Japan and the US. He joined Quest Group upon the graduation from Nanyang Technological University, BA in Economics, in 2023. During his studies, he was recognized for academic excellence, receiving the SSS Book Prize in Economics (2019/2020) and making the Dean’s List (2019/2020).

Takao Takesako, General Manager (Tokyo)

Takao Takesako is a seasoned finance and real estate professional with expertise in investment, fund structuring, and business development. After graduating from Yokohama National University with a BA in Business Administration in 1993, he joined Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation, where he played a key role in real estate trust acceptance, sales brokerage, and fund structuring. Over his career, he has overseen real estate transactions totalling approximately JPY 500 billion, structured pension funds worth JPY 30 billion, and led the formation of a JPY 100 billion senior housing fund, the largest in Japan at the time. In addition to launching multiple new businesses, he has extensive expertise in healthcare consulting and real estate investment strategies. He holds certifications as a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser and Licensed Real Estate Transaction Specialist in Japan.

Katsuyoshi Ichikawa, Manager

(Tokyo)

Katsuyoshi Ichikawa is a licensed real property appraiser with deep expertise in real estate valuation, consulting, and asset management. He provides a wide range of professional services, including real estate appraisal reports, consulting, leasing, and real estate management. He holds an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BA in Economics from Kwansei Gakuin University. In addition to his Real Estate Appraisal license in Japan, he holds a U.S. Illinois CPA and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
